We’ve been really busy over the last term in UHC, preparing pieces for competition, for the weddings of two of our lovely members, and for the many concerts in our diary this year.
On 24th March, we entered the Newcastle-under-Lyme Festival for music, speech and drama for the second year. We were really pleased to be awarded third place and distinction amongst a competitive field of choirs, and described by the judge as creating a ‘beguiling sound’. We look forward to performing at a Newcastle-under-Lyme Festival Fundraising concert in May.
Also in May, we will be singing at this years’ UHNM service celebrating the dedication of health staff past and present. The NHS will also be celebrating 70 years in July and the service will kick start celebrations locally.
Have a look at our performances page for more information about these and our other upcoming performances.
