And the winner is…

…University Hospital Choir!

After competing against 6 other choirs in the Newcastle-under-Lyme Festival of Music, Speech and Drama, we were delighted to be awarded first place with honours.

The Festival was our first venture into competitive performance up against a field of talented choirs, so we were surprised and thrilled to have won. Our repertoire in the adult choir class was Panis Angelicus, Will ye go Lassie go and the ever humorous Altos’ Lament.

It has been a fantastic experience to take part in this event and push ourselves as a choir, we look forward to more opportunities to develop in the future.
